Three Rome Middle School students were arrested this week after a brawl just before 8:30 am on Monday.

Authorities said that after breaking the fight up, one student became loud and disruptive in the school’s office while saying she was going to “get out and get the other student.” She then proceeded to push administrators out of the way in an attempt to run down the hall to continue fighting.

A teacher then attempted to hold a door closed to keep one of the students from escaping.  She is accused of kicking the door in an effort to escape.

At this point, a second fight began to take place.  Officers said that they thought they were able to get the situation under control when one of the students ran out of the office toward other student.   When officers gained control of the student she began to kick off the officer’s gear on his vest.

After arriving at the police station one of the 14 year-old girls began throwing and kicking items in the interview room.
