Burt Boyd McGee, 59 of Rome, was arrested this week after he was allegedly found burglarizing Alto Park Elementary School just after 3 pm Wednesday.
Reports said that McGee used a machete and a knife to break into the school to steal school pizza.
When officers found McGee he allegedly gave them a fake name and date of birth. His true identity was not discovered until arriving at the jail and being fingerprinted.
McGee is charged with second degree burglary, criminal trespass, carrying weapons on school property, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, prowling and giving false information to police
