Rome Man Jailed for Attacking Woman with Ice Water, Breaks TV, Mug, more

Anthony Curtis Jones, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said threatened to kill a 48 year-old woman while throwing ice water on her.

Reports said that after Jones made the threats and doused the victim, Jones destroyed a 70 inch TV , walkway lights and a mug belonging to the victim.  He is also accused of damaging her 2023 Chevrolet Blazer SUV.

Police estimated the damage done by Jones at over $501.

Jones is charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and acts, 2^nd degree criminal damage to property, and cruelty to children.
