A Rome man jailed for numerous armed robberies around Rome, Edward Louis Crowder, 53, has now been identified as the suspect in another case.
Reports said that Crowder used a gun to rob the Latina Food Mart on Shorter Avenue on December 10th.
The clerk said that Crowder pulled a gun and pointed it him while robbing them.
A Rome man, Edward Louis Crowder, 53, who was arrested last week for an armed robbery has been discovered as the suspect who was wanted for another armed robbery that same week.
Reports said that on December 18th, Crowder went into the BP gas station on Redmond Circle and pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded money. Authorities stated that the gun was later found to be a fake plastic rifle.
The incident occurred just before 5 am.
Crowder is charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery.
