Isaac Jeffrey Williams Sr, 44 of Dallas, was arrested in Rome after police said he killed a passenger in his car as a result of him driving at a high rate of speed and then wrecking on Branham Avenue.
Police caid that Williams was driving at high speeds when he attempted to negotiate a turn and instead left the roadway and struck a driveway culvert.
Williams then fled the scene and failed to report the wreckage leaving the passenger, Mr. Twinsal Lamar Allen, to die.
The wreck occurred last November 3rd.
Williams is charged with homicide by vehicle, hit and run, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and too fast for conditions.
