Joshua Glenn Hunter, 36 of Cave Spring, was jailed this week after reports said he attempted to deprive Walmart of $508.36 of merchandise by skip-scanning them while checking out.
Reports did not list the items Hunter attempted to steal.
Hunter is charged with felony shoplifting.
