Cartersville Man Jailed After Running from Police Police

Dakota Lee Simmons, 20 of Cartersville, was jailed in Rome this week after previously running away from them last June.

Police said that Simmons fled on foot despite numerous attempts to get him to stop during an investigation on Booger Hollow Road last June 21^st.

He was located this week at a location on Sam Walker Road in Floyd County.

Simmons is charged with obstruction and failure to appear.
