Linzi Brianne Deavilla, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she aggressively lunged toward another woman as if she was going to hit her.
A witness stepped in and prevented the attack from occurring. However, Deavilla took the bystanders cellphone when they attempted to call 911 for help.
When police arrived, Deavilla continued to be aggressive by refusing to walk toward their patrol car and get inside.
When officers got her to the car, Deavilla allegedly fell to the ground in an attempt to avoid being arrested.
Deavilla is charged with simple assault, obstruction of a person making a 911 call and obstruction of police.
