Zion Serterrius Davis, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he fled from them after finding him driving a stolen Honda CR-V.

Police said that when they attempted to pull Davis over he fled at a high rate of speed before losing control and wrecking.

Davis is then accused of jumping out of the car and fleeing on foot on East 10th Street.

He was taken into custody after a short chase.

Davis is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, driving while unlicensed, attempting to elude police, obstruction, too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane and reckless conduct.
