Gregory Wayne Ledbetter, 51 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found driving a stolen vehicle that had a stolen license plate attached.
Police said that Ledbetter ran from officers on foot while being pulled over on Wingfield Street off Shorter Avenue.
Ledbetter is charged felony theft by receiving stolen property, misd theft by receiving stolen property, and obstruction of law enforcement.
