Francisco Rodriguez-Perez, 24 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he punched a 24 year-old Kingston man in the face during an altercation on Woodbine Avenue.
Police added that the victim suffered visible injury after being punched twice.
Rodriguez-Perez is charged with simple battery.
