Two inmates at the Floyd County Prison, Darrius Eugene Haywood, 20, and Deon Lamon Watkins, 40, are facing new charges after they got into a fight.
Reports said that Haywood had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment due to his injuries.
Haywood has been housed at the jail since late September for probation violations and obstruction.
.Watkins was arrested in July on charges of battery, obstruction, and probation warrant.
They are both charged with felony unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution.
