Nickolas Keith Smith, 33 of Rome, was jailed in Rome after reports said he violated a court order to stay away from a woman.
Police said that Smith harassed the victim by repeatedly contacting her via a cell phone.
Smith is charged with aggravated stalking, harassing communications and probation violation.
