Rome Woman Jailed for Stalking After Beating Man with Wrench

Misty Dawn Lopez-Malipca, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stalked a 55 year-old woman at a home on Hardy Avenue.

Reports said that Lopez-Malipca was told by the courts to stay away from the victim.

Lopez-Malpica is charged with aggravated stalking.

Misty Dawn Lopez-Malpica, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she hit a man in the head with a wrench.

Reports said that Lopez-Malpica threw the wrench at the back of the victim’s head. 

The victim suffered a laceration from the attack.

Lopez-Malpica is charged with aggravated assault.
