Sylvester Vargas Gonzalez, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he struck a 47 year-old woman in her cheek which left visible redness and swelling.
Gonzalez is then accused of hitting the woman’s vehicle leaving less than $500 in damages done.
Gonzalez is charged with simple battery and criminal trespass.
