The Rome Floyd Metro Drug Task Force arrested four individuals, Chakielle Trumyian Dennis 25, Carlos Jamiane Sams Jr, 18, Jaderricus Malik Caldwell, 22, and Ja’Teria Kiyonte Colts, 24, all of Rome, on various felonies during a raid at Apartment B4 at 180 East 11th Street.
Reports said that Caldwell was wanted for leading police on a high-speed chase back in July. Police said that Caldwell drove in a reckless manner while trying to avoid arrest near the intersection of West Callahan and North Broad Street.
Caldwell was also found in possession of 85 grams of marijuana that was packaged in individual baggies for resale, along with 20 Oxycodone pills and a Glock 9mm semi-automatic handgun.
He is also accused of fleeing from officers this week on 6th and 20 Avenues.
While being taken into custody at the home on East 11th, officers found nearly two pounds of marijuana that was packaged for resale, digital scales and three stolen firearms.
Officers said that Caldwell attempted to hide from police with Sams lying about his location in the home.
The guns that were recovered by police were: Glock 19, Omni .233 and a Smith and Wesson 9mm.
All four are charged with possession of marijuana and distribution of marijuana.
Sams is additionally charged with three counts felony theft by receiving stolen property and hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
Caldwell is additionally charged with three counts felony theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, window tint violation, obstruction, a stop sign violation, failure to maintain lane, failure to obey traffic control devices, speeding, passing in a no passing zone, reckless driving, fleeing from police, operation of a vehicle on approach by an emergency vehicle, and two counts probation violation.
