Ashford Lamont Price, 45 of Summerville, was arrested this week after reports said he used another’s identity to obtain money from United Community Bank’s Martha Berry Hwy branch.

Reports said that Price obtained a bank slip order from inside and then exited into a car.  He, along wither others, then went in the drive-thru and obtained $600 from another person’s account without their permission.  Price allegedly used the victim’s personal information to fill out the slip and illegally obtain the money.

The incident occurred on August 3rd of this year.

Price is charged with identity fraud, 2nd-degree forgery, executing checks knowing the information is in error, giving false information to police, obstruction and failure to appear.
