Christopher Scott Whatley Sr, 51 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with drugs after following and stalking a woman at her home.
Police said that when Whatley was taken into custody he was found in possession of synthetic marijuana.
Whatley is charged with stalking, criminal trespass, possession of synthetic marijuana and probation violation.
