Dennis Lewis Turner Jr, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he made fraudulent ATM deposits into his checking account and then withdrew funds knowing there would not be money there to support it.
Police said that Turner made the cash withdrawals knowing that it would cause his account to be overdrawn by $981.
Turner is charged with theft by deception.
