According to reports from the Georgia State Patrol on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 9:21 pm, Troopers from the Cartersville post of the Georgia State Patrol responded to a request for assistance from the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office for a pursuit with a stolen Ford F-250 on Highway 41.
Prior to Troopers becoming involved in the pursuit, a Bartow County Sheriff’s Deputy performed a PIT maneuver on Highway 41 north of Pleasant Valley Road.
The Ford F-250 left the west side of the roadway, where it overturned and ejected the driver from the vehicle. The driver was pronounced deceased on the scene. T
The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
