Brandon Wayne McCrelles, 31 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said he attempted to blow up the historical Van Cherokee Cabin in downtown Cave Spring.
The report said that McCrelles tossed a Molotov cocktail toward the cabin in an attempt to destroy the historical property.
The incident occurred just before 11 pm on Thursday.
McCrelles is charged with 2nd degree arson, reckless conduct and driving down the wrong side of the roadway.
