Mickey Dale Dempsey III, 24 of Rome, was arrested after a traffic stop for speeding led police to find marijuana.
Police said that they stopped Dempsey for driving over 18 mph above the posted speed limit on the Loop.
While taking him into custody, officers stated that they found over an ounce of marijuana in his possession.
Dempsey is charged with speeding and possession of marijuana.
