Taylor Daisy Pearson, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she attempted to deposit a check that she had already cashed.
Police said that Pearson mobile deposited a check a year ago and then attempted to deposit it again the same way in August. Authorities went on to say that Pearson altered the date of the check in an effort to attain the funds twice.
The check was on the business account of West End Florist through First National Community Bank.
The check was in the amount of $421.48.
Pearson is charged with two counts 4th degree forgery.
