Gary Don Holmes, 51 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he purposely used his vehicle to run a 42 year-old woman off of the road.
After running the woman off of the road, Holmes proceeded to flee the scene.
The incident occurred on Calhoun Road..
Holmes is charged with aggravated assault and hit and run.
