Foncuyon Yuranas Finley Sr, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said his girlfriend informed police that he kept a gun in the center console of his vehicle.
Police added that the gun had been reported stolen by another unknown female who had been demanding that Finley return the gun to her.
Finley is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
