Terry Hayden Rittenhouse, 53 of Dallas, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was found DUI after nearly crashing into a police car on Turner McCall Blvd.

Officers said that after pulling Rittenhouse over they discovered that he had been allegedly driving under the influence of hydrocodone, marijuana and methamphetamine.

A search then resulted in officers finding less than an ounce of marijuana, 44 grams of methamphetamine, a glass pipe, a scale and a spoon.

Rittenhouse is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, drug trafficking, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects, DUI, failure to maintain lane and violating the hands free law.
