Darnelius Jermaine Hamilton, 50 of Adairsville, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was found in possession of cocaine and marijuana during a search of his vehicle.
The search occurred near the intersection of Turner McCall Blvd and North 5th Avenue.
Hamilton is charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.
