The Rome-Floyd Metro Drug Task Force arrested two women during a raid of an apartment on Cave Spring Road.  Barbara Chaska Morris, 35 of Rome, Jessica Lynn Morgan, 39 of Rome, were jailed for various charges including drug trafficking.

Reports said that officers found over an ounce of methamphetamine, Fentanyl pills, Adderall pills, a large amount of marijuana, a handgun and multiple smoking devices.

After arriving at the jail, deputies said that they found additional meth on Morgan.

Morris is charged with drug trafficking, possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm while committing a crime, possession of a firearm possession of drug related objects, a fugitive from justice, and parole violation.

Morgan is charged with two counts possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug related objects.
