Maxine Lee Ford, 60 of Rome, was arrested for trying to attack a 43 year-old woman with a baseball bat.
Reports said that Ford raised the bat over her head in an attempt to beat her.
The incident occurred at a location on Alabama Highway.
Ford is charged with aggravated assault.
