Floyd County Police arrested Stephen Craig Warren Sr, 71, and Melissa Warren, 51, both or Rome, were arrested after an altercation became violent at their home on Harold Drive.
Police stated that Melissa hit Stephen in the arm with a baseball bat resulting in bruising and swelling.
Reports added that Stephen then pulled a gun on Melissa, placing her in fear of her life.
Stephen Warren is charged with simple assault.
Melissa Warren is charged with battery.
