Carlos Jermaine Sams Jr, 18, and Christopher Rashon Smith Jr, 18 of Rome, were arrested this week after reports said they conspired to sell illegal narcotics while working with a known gang.
Police said that the drug deal was with Jadakiss Waddell and four other unidentified suspects in July.
Both are charged with unlawful participation in street gang activity and felony attempt to violate controlled substance act.
