Calvin Wade Palm II, 41 of Marietta, was arrested in Rome this week after he was accused of lying about a traffic accident on Chateau Drive at Cartersville Highway.
Reports said that Palm told Rome Police that he did not know the driver of a Dodge Challenger, for which he is the owner of, that was involved in a hit and run back on June 11th. Palm told police that he was never in Rome and that he had no clue about the wreck.
However, investigators later determined that the driver of the truck at the time of the wreck was Palm’s brother Bruno Murdaugh II. It was also discovered that Palm was a passenger in the truck at the time of the wreck.
Palm is charged with willful obstruction.
