Dustin Warren Ballard, 28 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a 2008 Land Rover from home on Glenwood School Road.
Reports stated that the theft occurred on July 23.
Ballard is charged with theft by taking, entering an automobile with the intent to commit a theft or felony, giving false information to police, and probation violation.
