An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, James Thorpe Easterling IV, 37 of Claxton, was jailed in Rome after being found distributing marijuana.
Reports said that Easterling was found with 33.8 grams of marijuana that was packaged in 10 individual baggies and 6.6 grams of methamphetamine packaged in 5 baggies.
Authorities added that Easterling was dealing drugs while part of the Aryan Brotherhood street gang.
Easterling is charged with items prohibited by an inmate, two counts of possession/distribution of drugs, and unlawful association with a street gang.
