Floyd County Police arrested Donald Ray Whatley, 61, and Oliver Hight, 72, both of Rome, were arrested this week after reports said they sold a person’s car while they were incarcerated at the jail
Reports stated that after selling the victim’s car without his approval they kept the $6,000 for themselves.
The theft occurred sometime between February and July of this year.
Both are charged with felony theft by taking.
