Kenneth Wayne Rogers, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attached his 76 year-old mother.
Police said that Rogers threatened the victim with a club before shoving and injuring her.
He is then accused of threatening his nephew telling him he was going to “kick his ass” while holding the club.
The incident occurred at a home on Mark Street.
Rogers is charged with simple battery, terroristic threats and acts along with the exploitation of an elderly person.
