Rockmart Man Jailed After Shooting 15 Year-old Child

Malik Hodges, 26 of Rockmart, was arrested in Rome this week following a shooting that left a child hospitalized.

Reports said that a 15 year-old was shot on Sunday June 25^th around 6 pm near the intersection of MLK Street and Rome Street close to Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Investigators said that they are looking into other suspects and the case is on-going.

Hodges is charged with four counts of felony aggravated assault, three counts of first-degree cruelty to children and one count of felony aggravated battery.
