On Sunday, two residents at Oak View Nursing Home got into a disagreement about the air conditioner in their room that got physical. According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, officers responded after the disagreement turned physical.
When police arrived, they spoke with both men. One said he tried to hit the other in the nose with a “back scratcher” but missed. The other man told police that he did threaten to kill the other man over the situation. The nursing home separated the two men.
No charges were filed, but the nursing home asked for a report to be filed as is there standard policy.
