The Supershow Fireworks stand in West Rome that their stand was broken into earlier this week.
According to reports, $77,400 worth of fireworks were taken overnight on Thursday. Reports added that the stand’s ower stated that the store closed around 10 pm Wednesday and when they reopened on Thursday most of the fireworks in the stand, as well as a generator, had been taken.
Police are using surveillance footage to identity the suspect. They added that it appears as if the allgeded thief(s) used a U-Haul truck as well as a second vehicle to load up the items and drive away toward Huffaker Road.
The fireworks stand owner said that they have since restocked the fireworks and added multiple security cameras to prevent any other issues.
