Isaac Lamar Chaney, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he was found illegally in possession of a firearm.
Police said that a search was done at the Ashwood Inn when they found a .22 rifle in Chaney’s possession.
Authorities went on to say that Chaney is a convicted felon and thus not allowed to possess a gun.
Chaney is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
