Justin Clayton Cameron, 21 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome after reports said he caused a wreck that left another person seriously injured while he was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Reports said that on February 3rd of this year, Cameron was driving at a high rate of speed down Riverbend Drive when he failed to maintain his lane and crashed.
It was discovered that he had been driving with a BAC of .212 and with marijuana in his system.
Several open containers of alcohol were also found inside his vehicle.
The victim in the wreck was rushed to a local hospital for surgery on a broken left femur.
Cameron was 20 years of age at the time of the wreck.
Cameron is charged with serious injury by vehicle, failure to maintain lane, open container, too fast for conditions and underage furnishing of alcohol.
