Anthony Boyd Flood, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a 46 year-old woman at Raceway on Shorter Avenue.
Reports said that Flood used an open hand to strike the woman in the face. Flood then proceeded to use “fighting words” when he told the victim “if you weren’t a woman I’d beat your ass.”
When police arrived, Flood is accused of attempting to flee the scene on foot.
Flood is charged with simple battery, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and two counts obstruction of law enforcement.
