Danny Edward Easterwood, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said they observed him riding a bicycle down the wrong side of Maple Road.
Police added that Easaterwood also did not have proper reflective lighting on his bicycle.
Officers went on to say that when they attempted to stop Easterwood he fled the scene on his bike.
Easterwood is charged with riding a bicycle on roadways, equipment violation and obstruction.
