Christopher Michael Brown, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he pulled a weave out of his girlfriend’s hair during an altercation on Calhoun Road.
Brown is also accused of punching the woman in the face.
Reports added that Brown also damaged a glass shelf, valued at $1,300 during the incident.
The victim told police that she had been in a relationship with Brown for the past 8 years.
Brown is charged with battery and 2nd degree criminal damage to property.
