Corey Anthony Blake Haygood, 29 of Rockmart, was arrested at a Rome area hospital when he attacked a 26 year-old nurse with a bottle.
The victim also told police that Haygood was yelling and cursing while attacking her.
Haygood is charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
