A fifty-four-year-old naked man was found on Rose Circle in Trion in the early morning hours of Saturday. Jeffery Hines, who has a long history of arrests in Chattooga County, was detained after he tried to get inside a house around 3 AM.
According to the sheriff’s office report, the homeowner has a restraining order against Hines for aggravated stalking.
Hines was transported by EMS for evaluation, and charges may be pending, according to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.
It isn’t the first time that Hines has been found without clothes on. Hines was arrested at the “Shell in the Hole” in Trion in 2021 after an off-duty law enforcement officer spotted him “running around the area with no pants on”, according to reports at the time.
