Roger Eugne Feyerabend, 52 of Kingston, was arrested at his Erin Court home this week after reports said police found 24 cats and kittens living in inhumane conditions.
Police said that they observed multiple cats in desperate and in need of immediate vet care. Feyerabend is also accused of locking the mother cats and kittens in cages without food and water. Two deceased kittens were found in the cages with the other live ones. Another kitten was found with an eye infection so bad that its eye had to be removed.
Feyerabend is charged with possession of meth, 10 counts aggravated cruelty to animals, 15 counts cruelty to children, and probation violation.
