Demarcus Lemann Hight, 47, and Quentin Lydell Nelson, 42, both of Rome, were arrested at a home on Porter Street after reports said they were found with drugs that were packaged for resale.
Police said that they found a large amount of marijuana, packaging materials and a digital scale.
After arriving the jail Hight was found with additional marijuana on him.
Both are charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and possession of drug related objects.
Nelson is also charged with parole violation.
Hight is additionally charged with crossing the guard line with drugs.
