Cody Matthew Vanwagner, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a 38 year-old woman at a home on Brentwood Drive.
Reports said that Vanwagner intentionally caused visible physical harm to the victim.
Vanwagner is charged with battery.
