Danny Junior Strickland, 53 of Rome, is facing numerous charges after deputies said that he was found with marijuana inside the Floyd County Jail.
Strickland had been originally arrested for repeatedly failing to appear in court on a DUI charge.
Strickland is charged with possession of marijuana, crossing the guard line with drugs, and two counts failure to appear.
